Local Churro Delivery

San Diablo is always looking for interesting ways to make churros available to more people.

Beginning in early 2020, San Diablo announced its churros would be available for delivery through Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Door Dash, Postmates, and Chef Panzee. As San Diablo prepared to join local delivery services like Uber Eats, the challenge at hand was how to maintain the food’s integrity and the overall experience for its members.

To do this, San Diablo spent a lot of time during 2019 in development to figure out an innovative way to package its filled churros so they wouldn’t get soggy in transport. The solution was a straw-type tube closed off at each end with one of San Diablo’s specialty fillings inside that would allow each freshly made churro to be filled on-site and give each customer the chance to fill the churros themselves.

This solution not only maintains the integrity of the food but also adds to the overall experience each member has with San Diablo Artisan Churros. Using local delivery services like UberEats is just one more way San Diablo delivers happiness to its members daily.
