Churros4Change is a holiday-giving fiesta aimed to celebrate changemakers and raising funds and awareness for local nonprofits. San Diablo wants to change the world for good and celebrate others who are doing that as well! We gather local influencers, entrepreneurs, foodies, students, and churro fans together as part of the global Giving Tuesday movement in November.
You may be asking yourself, how can you change the world with churros? Well, at San Diablo we know how hard change can be. So we decided to throw a party with churros to gather all the changemakers together in one room to share their causes and provide resources to help others!
Those who purchase tickets to the event can choose which nonprofit they would like to donate to and 100% of those proceeds go directly to the organization. In addition to ticket sales, San Diablo also holds a silent auction at the event to raise additional money for the nonprofits.
Good causes live music, tacos, drinks, and unlimited churros! It doesn't get much better than that!

Local non-profits
This year we are happy to announce the 3 foundations we will be supporting!
Love Hard: The Love Hard Foundation works directly with school districts to give students no-cost access to life-changing (Advanced Resolution) trauma therapy to eliminate self-harm and suicide in our schools. We also de-stigmatize mental health conversations by hosting engaging events, fundraisers, and concerts, and selling clothing with unique positive messaging.
Encircle: Encircle is an LGBTQ+ youth and family resource center with a mission to bring the family and community together to enable LGBTQ+ youth to thrive. We are expanding to bring life-affirming mental health services to LGBTQ+ youth and their families nationwide.
Young Living Foundation: The mission of the Young Living Foundation is to protect and empower the world's young. We are currently funding a project to protect children from trafficking and exploitation and training is available to anyone.
Live music: Nothing brings the fun like an energetic performance from local favorites, Foreign Figures!
All-you-can-eat-churros!: Come taste as many hot and fresh-filled churros as your heart desires—including some specialty filling flavors and churro innovations we're rolling out just for you, our honored guests!
Delicious Tacos & Sodas: Taco Tuesday will be in FULL effect! Chase them down with custom beverages from our Thirst Drinks Soda Bar.
Change-maker inspiration: We believe everyone can be a changemaker with their unique story and distinct gifts. The evening will be full of activities and inspiration for how you can change the world in your own way.
Photo booth, Raffel prices & silent auction: Enjoy a red carpet entrance! Participate in non-profit “change challenges” for the chance to win awesome prizes including the coveted VIP Free Churros for Life Membership. Bid on an exciting variety of silent auction items with proceeds going to our featured non-profits.
